Events in Fall 2008

1. Visiting Orphanage House
The members of the group, which deals with children from the Orphans’ Houses #1 and #2, visit children every weekend and carry out various activities such as helping with their home assignments, preparing to important tests and different social activities that is held by the administration of orphans’ house, organizing interesting meetings with the representatives of different cultures and specializations to raise the general awareness of children, organizing events outside the orphans’ house to entertain children and acquaint them with what is happening in the city, coming up with challenging questions and discussions to develop analytical capacity and organizing trainings and seminars for the staff of orphans’ house.











2. Sweets Fair
Furthermore, we carry out events not only in the orphans’ house but also at KIMEP to enable students of our university to make contributions to charitable events. On the 15th of October, a fund-raising event called “SWEETS FAIR” was conducted by the members of our group at KIMEP GRILL. As it is implied various sweets prepared by sponsor confectioneries were sold quickly thanks to the students as well as the faculty members of KIMEP. Money collected from this annual fund-raising event is directed to the organization of all events in the orphans’ house as well as at KIMEP.











3. Trip to cinema
On 23rd of November members of FBG organized the trip to Great Hall to show a movie. Everybody was watching the movie with bottle of Ice Tea. After the movie we made a little trip around the KIMEP Campus. The transportation was provided by the Office of Students’ Affairs. Children enjoyed the trip.
